  • Take 03: Ghostbusters (1984)

    Graphic designer and film producer Michael C. Gross discusses the story behind his much loved and iconic logo. It is one of the finest logos created for film and probably one of the greatest bits of graphic design ever - self-contained and perfectly formed, it says everything that one needs to know. Which is no surprise as influential graphic design was his stock in trade. Aside to 'No Ghost' Mr Gross also branded that other perennial graphic designers favourite, the 1968 Mexico Olympics and was a long serving AD for National Lampoon magazine, creating that other classic piece of agit-graphics, the much imitated “If You Don’t Buy This Magazine, We’ll Kill This Dog” cover.
